“Disrupting the presidential election sessions is an unethical step,” Kataeb party leader Amin Gemayel said on Monday, adding that power vacuum takes a toll on Lebanon.
“We will undoubtedly face constitutional issues that will come as a result of the presidential void,” Gemayel said, noting that the March 14 forces have dealt “in a positive and responsible manner” in terms of this entitlement.
Gemayel also told the Kuwait-based Al-Seyassah daily that the March 14 coalition is only interested in the election of a new president, stressing that he will hold intensive contacts for this purpose.
