Aoun to Guterres on UN International Day: I hope UN will remain guardian of international values and peace between people
On the occasion of the United Nations International Day, President Michel Aoun sent on Friday a congratulating message to the Secretary-General of the United Nations António Guterres, wishing that “the United Nations organization will remain a guardian of international values and peace between people, and a keeper of justice and equality."
 
President Aoun also expressed Lebanon's appreciation for the responsibilities undertaken by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, saluting his stances towards Lebanon and the Lebanese people, wishing him continued health and success in the good efforts.
