EU drops mandatory mask requirement on planes and airports as of Monday
The European Union will cancel the mandatory wearing of face masks during flights and at airports as of next week, as the pandemic subsides in Europe, according to the European Union's Aviation Safety Agency.

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) issued an update of health safety measures for air travel, and dropped the recommendation to wear a medical mask at airports and on board of flights, noting that the mask is still one of the best means of protection against COVID-19 infection.
