Lebanese doctor achieves new medical breakthrough in Saudi Arabia
Lebanese doctor Wassim Rouphael initiated a new medical breakthrough after successfully removing a benign ovarian tumor in a 9-year-old girl.

As a consultant obstetrics and gynecology surgeon, Rouphael was the head of the medical team who successfully examined the child, revealing the presence of a benign tumor, a 12-centimeter cyst containing fatty fluids and capillaries (Dermoid Cyst).

The surgery lasted two hours, the treating medical team used advanced laparoscopic techniques, and the medical team removed the tumor entirely.

Wassim Rouphael is a Lebanese doctor working at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital in Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
