Lebanese jeweler Mouawad creates stunning crown for Miss Universe 2022

The Lebanese jewelry brand Mouawad unveiled a new crown for the 71st Miss Universe pageant, which will be held in New Orleans in January.

Unveiled on Monday, the glittering tiara is named "Force for Good."

It features 110 carats of blue sapphires, 48 carats of white diamonds, and curls at the base that symbolize "the challenges involved in swaying opponents," according to a description by Mouawad.

The crown carries a message of hope for the future and pays tribute to the values of the Miss Universe organization, which gives women a voice to create positive change which impacts the world.
