Chinese man severs own penis; says there was no use for it

A Chinese man severed his own penis then, in pain, decided to head to the hospital for treatment.         

Upon his arrival to the hospital, doctors told 26-year-old Yang Hu, that saving his manhood would be impossible without the provision of his severed penis, which he had left back home.                    
Yang Hu eventually arrived back with the severed member, but doctors told him that it had been without blood for too long and reattaching it would be impossible.                             

According to his friends, Yang Hu said that he had been depressed due to the fact that he couldn't find a girlfriend, and mentioned that he works for long hours in a clothing factory in Jiaxing, in Zhejiang province in east China.                                

They also added that his depression grew so bad that he returned on the 27th of October to his rented room and cut off his penis seemingly since he believed that there was no use for it.         
On another note, his friends criticized the doctors at the hospital saying that if they had provided him with an ambulance he would have gotten home faster and eventually his penis would have been saved.
