One killed in clashes between Egyptian police and protesters

One protester was killed in clashes between supporters of ousted Islamist president Mohamed Mursi and security forces at Cairo University on Thursday, medical sources said.
   
Egypt's army-backed government passed a law on Sunday that restricts demonstrations.
 
On another note, the assembly drafting a new Egyptian constitution will announce the completion of the draft later on Thursday, its spokesman said.
   
"The head of the committee will announce the completion of the articles of the constitution and the end of the committee's mission later today," Mohamed Salmawy said in a televised news conference.
  
The constitution will be put to a popular referendum.
