Backers of Egypt's ousted president protest vote

Supporters of Egypt's toppled president are holding sporadic protests against this week's constitutional referendum as authorities say at least one person has been killed in clashes.
    
After Friday prayers, protesters backing ousted Islamist President Mohammed Morsi and his outlawed Muslim Brotherhood group demonstrated in Cairo and other provinces. They've been holding near-daily protests since a popularly backed military coup toppled him July 3.
    
Millions of Egyptians voted in a two-day constitutional referendum this week. Unofficial results show overwhelming support for it.
    
Police fired tear gas to disperse the protesters Friday. Security officials say some Morsi supporters carried locally made guns and gasoline bombs.
    
Officials say one protester was killed in clashes in Fayoum. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity as they aren't authorized to speak with journalists.
