Ban Ki Moon concerned over escalating violence in Syria

Martin Nesirky, spokesperson for U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon, said that Ban is deeply concerned over the escalating violence in Syria, adding that “the ball is now in Bashar Assad’s court to fully implement the Arab peace initiative”.

Nesirky said that the blasts that rocked Damascus, killing and injuring many, confirm the growing concerns of Ban Ki Moon.
