Abdul Jalil heads to Tripoli

The head of Libya’s new leadership, National Transitional Council (NTC) chief Mustafa Abdel Jalil, flew to Tripoli today for his first visit since the downfall of Muammar Gadhafi’s regime.

Abdul Jalil is expected to stop in Misrata, a city controlled by the rebels since the beginning of the uprising in February.
