Amnesty International calls for the release of 13 Bahraini activists
Amnesty International called on Bahraini authorities to release 13 activists convicted for allegedly plotting against the kingdom. The appeal in their case is expected to take place on Tuesday.                

In a statement released by the Organization, Amnesty International called on Bahrain's authorities to “end the judicial charade”, immediately releasing the 13 detainees without any preconditions.                

The organization also called for a swift investigation into torture claims reported by some of the detainees.
