Khamenei calls for a sanctions resistant economy

Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called on Thursday to lay an economic plan resistant to international sanctions.

Khamenei stressed that international powers are exerting full pressure to down Iran, adding that the country should utilize all its capabilities to dispel the “illusion”, in reference to the financial and western oil embargo aiming to force Iran to abandon its nuclear program.

During a meeting with the government, the Iranian Leader said that the plan will make the country's economy more robust in the face of conspiracies, pointing out that "it is the only way that allows us to continue the path of progress".
