White House congratulates Venezuela on presidential elections
 Following the presidential elections that re-elected President Hugo Chavez, the White House has congratulated on Monday the Venezuelan people.          

"We have our differences with Chavez, but we congratulate the Venezuelan people", White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters.              

Carney praised the electoral process that was according to the White House "peaceful".
