Iranian channels banned on Hotbird satellite

After the European Union increased sanctions against the Islamic Republic, European satellite operators Eutelsat and Birtitsh service company Arqiva have stopped carrying Iranian channels on the Hotbird servic.

Eutelsat said that the two companies decided together to stop all broadcasts of the Iranian television through Hotbird satellite.
