IEA: US to become self reliant in oil production by 2020

The US will surpass Saudi Arabia in oil production in the next decade, and will start exporting in 2030, the International Energy Agency reported.            

In its annual World Energy Outlook, the IEA said that the US, the world’s biggest consumer, will almost be self-reliant in energy.
