Explosion hits mainly Somali district in Kenyan capital

An explosion struck a predominantly Somali neighborhood in the Kenyan capital Nairobi on Wednesday, police said.

Reuters reporters heard the blast several kilometres (miles) away in the Eastleigh district. Nairobi police chief Moses Ombati said there was no immediate word on casualties.
