After a 4-day visit, Mechaal leaves the Gaza Strip

The leader of the Palestinian political organization Hamas, Khaled Meshaal left the Gaza strip on Monday after a 4-day visit whereby he participated in the Palestinian Islamist group's 25th anniversary rally.

A spokesman for the Hamas Interior Ministry said that Mechaal left the coastal enclave through the Rafah crossing.
