Libyan Speaker subject of an assassination attempt

Libyan Speaker Mohammad Magariaf’s spokesman said on Sunday that Magariaf was subject of an assassination attempt while he was in his home in Libya’s desert.

According to the spokesman, the house of Magariaf was target of gunfire on Thursday evening, stressing that 3 bodyguards were wounded during the shooting. However, the Libyan speaker remained unharmed.
