Robots replace human waiters and chefs at Chinese restaurant

            
A China restaurant has gained international fame and continues to grow in popularity since it opened June last year.           

Chief Engineer Liu Hasheng, said they invested 5 million Yuan (about £500,000) in creating the restaurant, with each robot costing 200,000 to 300,000 Yuan (around £20,000 to £30,000).        

The robots can work continuously for five hours after a two-hour charge, carrying food to diners.

Now diners in this Chinese restaurants are getting an all time sci-fi experience with 20 robots delivering food to the table, cooking dumplings and noodles, ushering diners and entertaining them.        

When a diner walks in, an usher robot extends their mechanic arm to the side and says 'Earth person hello. Welcome to the Robot Restaurant.'             

After ordering their food, robots in the kitchen set to work cooking the meals of the diners with the robot waiters standing idly by to carry the food from the kitchen to table along tracks on the floor.             

Prepared dishes are placed on a suspended conveyor belt and when the plate reaches the right table the mechanical arms lift it off and set it down.          

As diners eat, a singing robot entertains diners.

After the busy times during the day, the robot go for a "meal", which is electricity.
