Korean scientist clones eight coyotes using egg of female dog

Korean veterinary scientist Hwang Woo-Suk succeeded to clone eight coyotes using an egg of a female dog, achieving a major breakthrough in stem-cell research.

The eight coyotes are the world's first cloned coyotes using somatic cells though.

Hwang donated the cloned coyotes to a wildlife protection center in Pyeongtaek.

It was reported that Hwang has cloned several coyotes this year; however they all died a week after the cloning.
