Protesters set fire to police station in Egypt

Egypt protesters torch on Saturday a police station in the  region of Port while US Secretary of State John Kerry arrived to Cairo.

Egypt's interior ministry pointed out that about 500 protesters threw stones and petrol bombs at the police station, leading to setting the station on fire, and then blocked fire engines from approaching the blaze.

Meanwhile, a security official said that one person died while dozens were hurt after clashes erupted on Friday overnight between protesters and Egyptian police in Mansoura city.               

The source added that police fired tear gas toward the protesters who tried to attack the headquarters of the Mansoura province and mentioned that one protester died while 30 other were injured.              

In addition to this, sources said that 10 policemen were injured.
