Armed clashes in Jordan kill 3, injure 25

Jordan's Minister of Interior Hussein Al-Majali reported on Tuesday that 3 persons were killed and another 25 were injured during armed clashes at a university campus in the city of Maan.

Reasons behind the clashes remain unclear, however it is believed to be related to problems of a tribal nature.

Violence frequently occurs at Jordanian universities, spreading sometimes beyond the campuses.
