Blasts heard over Tel Aviv after missiles from Iran detected: AFP journalists

Several blasts were heard over Israel's commercial hub of Tel Aviv on Friday, AFP journalists reported, after the military said it had detected new missiles launched from Iran towards the country.

"A short while ago, the Israeli army identified missiles launched from Iran toward the territory of the State of Israel. Defensive systems are operating to intercept the threat," the military said.
