Paris salutes firm message sent by Arab League to Damascus

The French Foreign Ministry announced Monday that France congratulated the Arab League for the message it sent to Syria. He called on the Syrian government to halt the violence and withdraw the tanks from the Syrian cities’ streets.

“We salute the firm message sent by the Arab League to the Syrian president”, the spokesman of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs said at a press conference, calling on Assad to release the prisoners, withdraw tanks, put an end to violence and commit to the national dialogue.
