Woman shoots friend in the leg at a Starbucks coffee shop

A woman in the southern American state of Florida accidentally shot her friend in the leg while waiting in line at a Starbucks coffee shop, reports said.
The woman, identified as Pamela Beck and her friend Amie Peterson were buying coffee at the Tyrone Square Mall when Beck threw her bags down to pay for her drink.

A Police spokesman said her purse hit the ground hard unloading a 25 caliber semi-automatic handgun in the bottom of her handbag and striking Peterson above the knee.

The case has been referred to prosecutors since Beck does not have a concealed carry weapons permit.

On the other hand, Peterson was treated and released at a nearby trauma center.
