France summons Israeli envoy over 'unacceptable' handling of Gaza flotilla activists: Ministry

France on Wednesday said it had summoned the Israeli ambassador over the "unacceptable actions" of far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, who shared a video of himself with Gaza-bound flotilla activists bound and on their knees after they had been detained.

"I have requested that the Israeli ambassador to France be summoned to express our indignation and obtain an explanation," French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot on X.
