ICC: Saif al-Islam’s arrest is just a matter of time
The International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo said that the arrest of Saif al-Islam Gaddafi is “just a matter of time”.

During a press conference held in the Palace of Peace in The Hague, Ocampo said: “It is no longer about whether Saif al-Islam will be arrested or not, but when will he be arrested. Saif al-Islam will stand trial. This is his destiny.”  

Ocampo added that “contacts” were established with Gaddafi’s son through mediators to negotiate the possibility of turning himself in. “He is demanding to know what will happen to him in case he hands himself over to the ICC”, Ocampo said.
