Tension runs high on various axes of the northern city of Tripoli

Daniel al-Ahmad, 13-years-old, from Tripoli’s Jabal Mohsen died on Tuesday from the wounds he sustained from sniping operations in Tripoli.

This as tension prevailed over various axes in the Northern Lebanese city, with mortar shells landing in various regions of the city.

Numerous residents, mainly in Tripoli's al-Baqqar Street and Syria Street, have fled the city following overnight clashes that left five people injured.

Lebanese Armed Forces Units are still responding to the sources of fire, noting that the army is conducting motorized patrols inside the city.
