Lebanon's Office Of Garbage, No Pun!

Tons of garbage are dumped in Lebanon every day, often polluting our water, air and soil.

But it is actually possible to reuse what we think should go to waste. Waste recycling has become across the developed world the leading waste management technique.

Countries like Germany recycle more than 65% of their waste.

Here in Lebanon, only 8% of our waste consumption is recycled although there is a huge potential to do more.

Take Cedar Environmental, a Lebanese NGO working on environmental technologies like the composting of organic waste, a one of its kind technology invented by the organization's team. Cedar environmental also works on promoting the recycling of solid waste across Lebanon.

Their office in Badaro is a model office, it is solely made of recycled material. Check out the pics!

Because caring about nature, is caring about ourselves.
