LAF soldiers reopen the Tripoli-Akkar highway
 
A unit from the Lebanese Armed Forces reopened on Sunday the Tripoli-Akkar highway which was blocked earlier in the day by residents of Baddawi who were protesting the arrest of three citizens from the said region.  

While opening the road, gunshots were fired in the air by LAF soldiers to disperse the protestors.           

LAF soldiers also set a checkpoint at the al-Mankoubin junction in Baddawi.
