Egypt rejects interference in domestic issues

Harshly replying to Hillary Clinton's accusations concerning the treatment and abuse inflicted on protesters and the "horrifying" violence against women in Cairo by security forces, Egypt's Foreign Minister said, "Egypt will not accept any interference in its internal affairs".

Without specifically naming Clinton, Minister Amr warned that his government "will demand clarifications regarding all statements by foreign officials concerning our internal affairs.”.
