Ready to celebrate New Year’s in Lebanon? The Aussies beat you to it

As the Lebanese are getting ready for New Year’s Eve, the South Pacific islands, New Zealand and Australia have already ushered in the new year.
Traditional celebrations were held and fireworks lit the skies over Sydney’s port, wowing a crowd of over a million spectators paying farewell to 2011 and ringing in the New Year.
