Mohammad al-Dabi: Arab observers’ mission may last for a long time

The chief of Arab League's Mission in Syria Mohammad al-Dabi said that the mission’s task in Syria may take a long time, adding that the Syrian regime is cooperating with it.

Al-Dabi told the “Observer” British newspaper that this was the first time that the Arab League carries out such a mission, adding that he did not have enough time to form an opinion.

Al-Dabi complained about the U.S. media outlets’ attacks that targeted him personally and accused the Arab League’s mission of being inefficient and a green light for the continued repression.

Dabi headed to Cairo to submit his report to the Arab League’s minsters’ meeting held to assess the mission’s work and discuss whether to go on with it or withdraw the observers and submit the Syrian issue to the UNSC.
