Qabbani calls for boosting disarmament of central Beirut

Beirut MPs called on Wednesday for boosting the disarmament of central Beirut, highlighting the importance of including Greater Beirut in the disarmament process.

MP Mohammad Qabbani said following the meeting of Beirut MPs at the parliament "after visiting Lebanese officials we decided to hold this meeting to determine the upcoming steps."

Qabbani stressed the necessity for openness and dialogue with other parties in Greater Beirut that might not be represented through Beirut MPs in order to achieve the disarmament of all of Beirut.
