Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri pledged on Monday USD 15 Million to rebuild the northeastern border town of Arsal and construct schools and a hospital in it.
Hariri met with a delegation from Arsal, headed by Mayor Ali Hjairy, in the presence of Future bloc MPs Jamal Jarrah, Ziad Al-Qaderi, and Amin Mohammad Wehbe.
On another note, Hariri stated that he is against holding parliamentary elections before ending the presidential deadlock.
Meanwhile, National Struggle Front Leader MP Walid Jumblatt stated after holding talks with Hariri that the latter returned to Lebanon amid a very complicated situation but his presence deters great problems and underscores the path that his father had taken.
