Fatfat: Hezbollah against development in north

MP Ahmad Fatfat said that Hezbollah is against development in the north and seeks to keep it in a destitute situation.

"Hezbollah is against development in the north region", Fatfat told Voice of Lebanon, accusing the party of "exercising dangerous policy.

He said that the re-opening of Rene Mouawad airport is developmental in the first degree since it creates job opportunities and a free zone for commerce.

Responding to a question if the army refused to re-open it due to security reasons, he stressed that "the final decision goes to the cabinet", stressing his respect to the military institution.

Fatfat said that Hezbollah is controlling all of Lebanon and not only Rafik Hariri Airport.
