Gemayel: Lebanon should spread its democratic experience

The head of the Kataeb Party Amin Gemayel met with US ambassador to Lebanon Mora Connelly in his office in Saifi where they discussed the current political situation in Syria and its repercussion on the Lebanese political scene.

Gemayel, in a statement after the meeting, stressed on the importance of preserving the current security situation under control to prevent any tensions.

“Lebanon should spread its democratic experience acquired in 2005 revolution to the world and especially to the Middle Eastern countries who are struggling for their freedoms these days”, Gemayel was quoted as saying.
