Prime Minister Tammam Salam issued Friday a memo concerning the closure of public administrations for the occasion of the Prophet's birthday (Eid Mawlid al-Nabawi).
The memo stipulated the closure of public administration, institutions and municipalities on the 12th of Rabi al-Awwal 1435 H [Saturday 3rd of January 2015] to mark the Prophet's birthday in accordance to decree number 15215, issued on the 27th of September 2009, and its amendments, which specifies official holidays.
