Abadi: If news on kidnapped Iranians true, we expect Lebanon to act

Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Ghadanfar Roken Abadi said on Monday that he urged the Lebanese cabinet to follow up on the issue of transferring kidnapped Iranian engineers from Syria to Lebanon.

“If the piece of news turns out to be true, appropriate procedures should be taken to release them”, Abadi said.

Abadi met with Interior Minister Marwan Charbel to discuss cooperation between the Islamic Iranian Republic and the Lebanese Republic.
