Hariri: My return to Lebanon does not depend on Syrian regime’s fall

Former PM Saad Hariri said that he has not sought political asylum and that the accident he was involved in delayed his return to Beirut. Hariri stressed that his return does not depend on the fall of the Syrian regime, adding that threats are always there whether he is inside or outside Beirut.

In a televised address on the eve of February 14th commemoration, Hariri said that the financial crisis he suffered from recently is now behind him, denying rumors that he received money from Saudi Arabia. “Only Iran and Hezbollah deal with political dollars”.
