Sleiman, Mikati appoint Jraisati as labor minister
President Michel Sleiman and PM Najib Mikati signed a decree on Friday, appointing Salim Jraisati as Labor Minister to replace outgoing Labor Minister Charbel Nahhas.    

Nahhas submitted his resignation on Tuesday after he refused to sign a cabinet decree officially approving a transportation allowance, arguing that it should be ratified by Parliament first.
