Abboud calls for boosting cabinet productivity

Tourism Minister Fadi Abboud said on Friday that there are ongoing attempts to reach a formula that would activate the cabinetwork and increase its productivity without an agreement on the appointments issue which have recently caused the suspension of cabinet sessions.

Abboud denied that former Labor Minister Charbel Nahhas has hindered the cabinet’s productivity.

The tourism minister told Voice of Lebanon that it is unreasonable to liken the expenditure of $ 11 billion to the cabinet’s demand for 8900 billion LBP in order to cover its expenses.

Abboud urged the other party to account for the disputed expenditure of $11 billion.
