Terro: Intransigence of certain parliament members obstructs solution to financial issue

Displaced Minister Alaa Din Terro confirmed on Saturday that a National Struggle Front delegation visited Speaker Nabih Berri and PM Najib Mikati to press forward with MP Walid Jumblatt’s initiative that calls for settling the financial issue which was behind the dispute between the parliament’s blocs.

Terro told Nharkom Said TV show that the National Struggle Front was represented in previous governments, stressing that the documents are present in the ministry of finance.

Terro added that they tried to press ahead with the initiative launched by Berri, “but faced with the intransigence of some members of parliament, it is hard to find a solution.”

Terro added that “the front” will boycott the Monday legislative session if no settlement was reached over the $11 billion issue.
