Internal Central Security Council discusses abduction phenomena

Interior Minister Marwan Charbel chaired a meeting for the Internal Central Security Council in the ministry’s building on Tuesday.

The council discussed the newly spread phenomena of abducting individual and asking for a ransom in return of their release. The participants also tackled the thefts and robberies that are occurring nationwide.

The LAF and ISF representatives said that firm and assertive measures are being taken to put an end to these crimes.
