US embassy: Lebanese authorities must protect all unarmed Syrian refugees
Sources from the U.S. embassy announced that the Lebanese authorities must protect any Syrian refugee asking for protection only if he was unarmed. The sources added that the international law compels all States to protect all individuals resorting to them regardless of their nationality.     

The sources told LBCI that the Lebanese government has the right to protect its borders and prevent any gunman from entering its territories.
