Roumieh inmates tie strike suspension with aggressor punishment

Islamist detainees in the Roumieh prison started a hunger strike on Thursday to protest the “mistreatment” to which was subjected one of the detainees in the military prison.

The protesters tied the suspension of their strike with the punishment of the aggressor.

The prison’s administration is taking extraordinary measures, averting any riot acts or insurgency.
