Sabounjian inspects North Metn industry

Industry Minister, Vrej Sabounjian, toured the North Metn region on Friday, inspecting the situation of industries there.        

In his tour, Sabounjian was accompanied by the Director General of the Industry Ministry, Dany Gedoun, the Qaemakam of Metn region, Elham Haddad, and other industrial figures.       

Sabounjian assured that the "Made in Lebanon" slogan had become a quality, taste, and art distinction mark, making clear that the "Lebanon the Producer" slogan he had lately risen would help develop the Lebanese exportation soon.        

The minister urged industrialists to work on preserving the condition of their institutions and interests and press efforts to enhance growth, amidst the current political and economic stages.        

Furthermore, Sabounjian assured that a line of coordination was set between his ministry and the Foreign Ministry,  to activate the role of Lebanon's diplomatic emissaries abroad "so that they [emissaries] would provide beneficial data for industry."      

Such data, the minister added, would serve an industrial and trade exchange between Lebanon and foreign countries.
