Hajj Hassan: Our differences will one day become a regrettable past

Agriculture Minister Hussein Hajj Hassan stressed on Monday the importance of steering clear from a confessional, sectarian, racist or divisional rhetoric that will amount to political, individual or electoral gains.

“I do not believe that anything, no matter how important it is, is worth a division that will only harm Lebanon”, Hajj Hassan added.

During a ceremony held in honor of the Lebanese Army in Nabatieh, Hajj Hassan stressed that the army, the people and the resistance “have raised Lebanon’s name and will always do”.

“Our differences will fade away and the nation will remain and these same differences will one day become a thing of the past and we will regret them”, Hajj Hassan said, “the State will remain, the land will remain, the army will remain and the resistance will remain against the Israeli enemy and any diversion that might lead the country into the abyss”.
