March 14 commemoration ceremony kicks off with prerecorded messages
The ceremony held by March 14 forces in commemoration of the 7th anniversary of the Cedars Revolution at Biel kicked off in an unorthodox manner. A political document that touches on domestic affairs as well as the Arab Spring is expected to be issued. March 14 leadership will not deliver any speeches; rather a video in which their remarks are taped will be shown. The youth of March 14 and civil society associations will deliver a speech.

Journalist May Chidiac stressed that the March 14 public was the first “to hold hands, achieve the second independence and oust the Syrian army from Lebanon”, in remarks made during the ceremony.

Chidiac urged Syrian President Bashar Assad to stop slaughtering little children in Syria and hiding behind religious men, whether Christian or Muslim.
