Pro-Syrian revolution protest with Jumblatt’s pictures in Martyr Square

A group of Lebanese activists and independents staged a demonstration to support the Syrian revolution in Martyr Square on Saturday. The demonstrators carried the “Syrian revolution’s” flag and banners showing their support for the Syrian people and its demands for justice and freedom. Some banners reading the names of Syrian towns were also seen during the demonstration.

The demonstrators called for the regime to be toppled and carried photos of Walid and Kamal Jumblatt.

In contrast, another group was gathered in Dabbas Square holding the Syrian flag along with pictures of President Bashar Assad as well as Amal flags.
